Thanks for visiting my new webpage! After some wrangling with Microsoft's Expression Web 2, I was able to come up with something that I really liked - hope you like it, too!
Recently, three albums have been released that I am proud to say I was a part of: firstly, is the album The Nature of the Beat, by trombonist extraordinaire Wayne Wallace. Wallace has been a Bay Area mainstay for a number of years and this album is an exciting blend of Latin and jazz styles. Secondly, is the album Magehia, recorded by the Premiere Saxophone Quartet. The PSQ is featured on this album, along with pianist Victoria Lington, on a trio of compositions - one by Santa Cruz composer John Scoville, "Sr. Miro's Saxophone," and two by outstanding French composer Lucie Robert, "Magehia" and "Issôs?" The latter was written by Robert specifically for the PSQ.

Lastly, Paul Tynan and I went into the studio in May 2008 and recorded a great album with eight of our closest friends and musicians. This group is the first incarnation of the Bicoastal Collective, and this debut album is entitled Chapter One. Chapter One was picked up by Seattle-based Origin Records and was released in February. Check out the sound clips on the website - hope you dig it!
One other thing - Paul Tynan and I will be back in the studio in late May to record another quintet CD with Scott Sorkin, guitar; John Shifflett, bass; and Jason Lewis, drums. I'll keep you posted!
Check out my calendar for a list of when I am playing, where and with whom. I have a couple of new links on the site, including a discography and a collection of reviews.
Shoot me a line anytime - hope to hear from you!
